Comming Soon...A New Forum For LGST

We are in the process of adding a new forum for the members and friends of http://www.letsgetsometraffic.com/. We found a fairly nice (and free) service to provide our forum, but it seems that it will be a little more complicated that at first believed. I am hoping that we will have this up in place & fully operational by the end of this weekend; or at latest by the end of next weekend (11/11/07).

I will keep you apprised as to the status as we go along in getting this set up.

I have just updated the Member's Agreement and Terms of Service on our web site. However, I will repost the document, in it's entirity here for future reference; or in case our site goes down. I know that this is boring stuff, but please read through it so that you are familar with all the changes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting us right away so that we can answer all of your questions. Contact should be made through our Contacts or Support page on the site.

Member's Agreement & Terms Of Service Updated October 31, 2007 Personally Identifiable Information When you become a Member, we do NOT sell, rent or otherwise give out any of your submitted personal information for any reason; except where mandated by proper courts of jurisdiction or other law enforcement entities with proper authority. Should we be required to forward your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to any of the previous mentioned authorities; we will notify you of such an event: and provide the following information to you: The date the request was made The date the information was sent The governing body, law enforcement agency or judicial authority requesting your information And the information that was requested and sent to such authority Your Information will always be treated with the utmost care and privacy. We protect the information that we have both physically with locks; as well as electronically with passwords, encryption schemes, firewalls and/or other electonic means available to us at the time to secure your information. E-Mail & E-Mail Accounts You agree that the e-mail address used to sign up for service on this site is listed or registered in your own name; or that you have the permission and authority to transact business with the e-mail address should it belong to another person or entity. You also agree that the e-mail address you provide to us is a working e-mail address, and that it is not a catch all account that will fill up and bounce emails back to us. You further understand that I should emails sent to you bounce back to us, you understand and accept that we may, at our option, delete your account without further recource. If that should happen, any credits; banners; sites; links or memberships will also be cancled. If you have paid for additional advertising seperate from your account: said ads will continue untouched according to the terms set forth in for the particular ad information page. Further More...With regards to e-mails sent by us: We will never SPAM you. By signing up and continuing a membership here, you agree to receive periodic e-mails from us. Therefore, all sites submitted to this site should have the majority of their site in the English language. By majority, we mean not less than 80% of the site should be written in English. If you have audio with spoken dialog, it too must be in English. If you have a foreign site, or are from a foreign country (outside of the USA); and your site has an English translated page: you must use that page. A Little Housekeeping

I just want to take the time to quickly do a little house keeping. I have a couple of short items that I want to post; and now is the best time to do so.

1. In order for your site to be viewed by others, we need to have others to view your site. The more people that we have in our membership; the more people who can potentially see your web site(s). Even though we are still a new site, we really should have more people than we have. We need everybody's help in obtaining more members to this site. Our October drive is almost over, and we are way behind where we should be. If you don't like that your site is not being rotated enough; then the reason would be that there still are not enough users who are viewing the site. But that is okay...we DO have a solution.
   
   Very simply...get more members to the site. And we are not even talking about upgraded memberships (at this time). NO...we just need members...each viewing the sites...a little at a time. We are not even talking about being super surfer...just someone who views perhaps 50 sites a few times a week. And if you are on our site...you are also probably on other sites as well. Don't forget to use your referral URL or splash page when advertising this site.




2. Slow loading sites may not display properly: if at all. Be careful with sites that take a long time to load. If the site doesn't load, or load fully by the time the clock runs down, then it will be a wasted effort for your promotion. Additionally, people are less likely to click on these sites: especially if they cannot see them. We have noticed Agloco is notoriously slow in loading: but perhaps that is just on our system.




3. Don't forget our hotlinks & banners. It is easy to just post your web pages here in LetsGetSomeTraffic.com; but did you know that we have two other ways for you to promote your sites? In addition to the full page web pages, you can also promote your sites through our banner exchange and hotlinks. As long as you have credits in your account; you can promote your sites using the banners and hotlinks: and it doesn't cost you anything more: not in money or credits. This is just another way to give our members more ad space to promote their sites.

And one last thing...there is just a little more than a day left before the end of this months Referral Contest. We now have two members who have referrals:
